CAFE MANAGER

Cafe Managers are responsible for the day to day of the cafe operations. You will be expected to work within all of the roles of the cafe when needed and must be proficient in all areas. This is a fast paced position where you will be required to make decisions, handle issues, ensure quality control and excellent customer service. You will work with the General Manager to help reach goals and maintain standards of the cafe through working with the Shift Leaders and all staff members. Customer service/management experience required.


 

SHIFT LEADER

This role is the entry level to the management team. You will work side-by-side with the baristas to provide customer service in a fast paced environment. Your responsibilities are that of the barista with the addition of open and/or closing the cafe, delegating tasks and breaks, and working in conjunction with the Cafe Manager to oversee the day. This position is a competitive hourly position with daily tips. Must be available to work weekdays as well as weekends. Customer service/supervisor experience required.


 

BARISTA

Expect to work in a fast paced, customer-oriented environment; handling cash and various forms of payment. This position is based around menu knowledge and in depth coffee and espresso based drinks, teas, and other beverages. As a barista, you will be responsible for the proper use and maintenance of our espresso machine and coffee machine.  You will also be responsible for learning the menus and using that knowledge to guide customers through the ordering process as well as craft the beverages ordered. Responsibilities also include helping maintain the cleanliness and stock of the cafe. This position is a competitive hourly position with daily tips. Must be available to work weekdays as well as weekends. Customer service experience required.


 

KITCHEN MANAGER

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for back-end management to direct and oversee all activities of the Kitchen in accordance with standardized policies to provide efficient service, quality products and profitable operations. Our from-scratch, fast-paced kitchen requires someone who can direct and lead all kitchen team members as well as coordinate schedules and order supplies. The Kitchen Manager is part of the Café’s Management team who will provide support to Kitchen Staff and report directly to the General Manager/Director of Operations.


 

LINE COOK - SANDWICH MAKER/PREP

Main responsibility is to prepare hot sandwiches, quesadillas, cold wraps and salads as volume dictates. Other responsibilities include prep work, maintaining par stocks and upkeep and cleanliness of work areas. Must have experience in a fast paced environment and be able to take direction well. Some culinary/cooking experience and knowledge of cooking methods preferred. This is an hourly position. Pay is commensurate of experience. Must be available to work weekdays as well as weekends.


 

KITCHEN - ASSISTANT

Main responsibility for this position is the washing of wares, pots and pans and the orderly placing of washed items. Other responsibilities include assisting in the upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen, dish-room and storage areas as well as food prep and stocking of items. This is an hourly position. Pay starts with minimum wage. Must be available to work weekdays as well as weekends.
